January 5, 2005 - Wednesday
I called home tonight from Las Vegas and the boys were too busy playing to want to talk to me. Actually, if I heard the background noise clearly I think they were fighting over some toy and neither wanted to give it up. Or, maybe they were just playing. Either way, it's never happened before, but probably will a lot in the future. Their mother insisted that they at least say "hello" and they did. I guess that's good because we want them to be respectful, even when they're preoccupied.
