February 19, 2006 - Sunday
We made our first visit to Grandma and Grandpa's new house late yesterday afternoon and stayed over night. Since Grandma and Grandpa had a dinner to go to the boys didn't really see them until this morning long enough to pass out some very late Christmas presents. Christmas this year was kind of lost in the big move out of their old house and into the new. It's a charming house that's smartly layout out with living room, master bedroom, kitchen, dining area, and study on the first floor, with four bedrooms plus an alcove upstairs for grandchildren to stay in. After all, the house that was razed to make room for this one was a beach community cottage that had room for all of Harry's cousins at once.
In addition to going to the Golden Rooster for breakfast and a walk on the (very cold) beach, one of Harry's favorite activities while we were here was to do one of Grandma's many puzzles. He's really become surprising accomplished at putting puzzles together, although he did not do this entire balloon puzzle all by himself. On the other hand, he did do quite a bit of it and at there were more than few times he surprised me with his increasing ability to spot pieces using both color and now shapes.
