Harry went to the birthday party of one of his classmates, Aaron, and that's not too surprising in and of itself, particularly because Aaron was one of the kids who came to Harry's party. Still I was a bit surprised that Harry was one of the only kids from their class at a party that seemed heavy on cousins of various ages. It may just be that Aaron was reciprocating for Harry's invite last December, but I'd sort of gotten the impression, rightly or not, that Aaron was one of the more popular kids in their kindergarten class and someone with whom Harry kind of aspired to play rather than someone with whom he was good friends. I suppose it could also be that at the end of school vacation week a lot of other kids might be still away or otherwise occupied on this day, but I kind of like the idea that Harry might be one of the popular kids himself.
