I really gave Jeremy an earful this afternoon for not getting ready to leave for Harry's drum lesson when I asked him. While I thought he was getting his shoes and socks it turned out he was just sitting on the chair in the hall doing nothing and it ultimately made us late for the lesson. Jeremy said he didn't know where his socks were even though he had taken them off less than fifteen mintues earlier. It's all about being responsible, of course, although these "earfuls" always seem to have a way of showing up a little later in the way the boys talk to each other.
