Harry marched in the Memorial Day parade again this year, but this year I marched with him. I was drafted as a fill-in coach because none of the Raptors coaches was in town today. Of course, a lot of other parents marched along side, too, and many brought candy for the kids to throw (like they see being thrown to them in other town parades). I don't think Harry's Giants did that last year because they were much more organized when we saw them only half way along the route. This year most of the candy was gone not too far after that, but with all the kids running around to get and throw more candy there was very little in the way of organized marching. Ah, but they had fun. I probably would have been happier with a little less chaos, but that's how it goes.

Jeremy did not march, but he might have had more fun hanging around with mommy at the library waiting for Harry's Raptors to show up. Somehow he got the idea this morning that he wanted to wear Harry's old Giants uniform from last year. No harm in that, and he thought it was pretty cool. And, he did look awfully cute.
