It's a little hard to see here, but Jeremy seems to have Conjunctivitis. Actually,
the fact that it's hard to see, to extreme redness, suggests (to me anyway,
whether it's medical sound or not) that it's not all that severe, although
at times there is a surprisingly amount of tan jelly matter oozing from the
inner corners of his eyes. The puffiness of the eyes and glossiness around
the eyes are the result of the Erythromycin gel that we put in his eyes 3-4
times a day and that's a bit tenuous because he tends to not like it and moves
around.
Conjunctivitis is apparently very contagious and Harry's eyes started to ooze
today, too, and we've put him right on the medication to catch it quickly.
Fortunately, it's easier to get Harry to stay still for the medicine, even
though he doesn't like it.
