Jeremy seems to have really taken to the C.W. Anderson "Billy and Blaze" books that we've gotten from the library recently and, by extension, horses in general. They're nice little self-contained stories that sort enough to read at bedtime that seem to have just the right amount of tension for a 4-year-old. Of course, his mother's past interest and experience with horses probably only adds to the excitement of the reading.
